Ads & Case Studies

Would you like to advertise on IttyBiz?

We have a few opportunities for advertising available on IttyBiz. Keep in mind, we feed ourselves with the money from our marketing business so we are not going to charge you a fortune for ads on this site. We’re not trying to move to Bali with our ad revenue, we just want to keep this site nice and cozy. Your ads will never have to compete with a bunch of other ads because we think that’s ugly. You’re reading a blog, not a coupon book.

We’re a little picky with the ads we run because our name is on this site and we want things to stay pretty. So please, don’t suggest really garish stuff and we won’t have to write back to you to say no.

Banner advertising in the column on the right is $100 per month.

Would you like to be a case study on IttyBiz?

In Naomi’s freelancing career, she’s written a lot of reviews. She’s trying to move away from that because reviews tend to focus a lot on the negative, and negativity sucks. Now, we’re doing case studies instead.

Case studies are a little different from reviews in that they’re generally pretty positive. If we think your site sucks, we’re not going to broadcast that all over the internet and then take your money. What we do is highlight your business and it’s positives, with some ideas for avenues for improvement. Check out some of our previous case studies here.

Case studies used to cost $100 but now we just want barter. Send us some swag, that’s better.

Would you like some other kind of link love from IttyBiz?

If you would like to advertise on IttyBiz in some other way, we’d love to hear from you. Just click this handy Contact Us link and tell us what you have in mind. We’re open to text level advertising, advertising through our feed, ad exchanges and more. Just know that we’re not in this for the money. If you’re nice, we’ll probably say yes. If you flash around a big wad of cash and act like a jerk, we’ll probably say no.

If you’d like to advertise with us, or send us money for any other reason, PayPal is our method of choice. This is mainly because we really like getting e-mails that say “You’ve Got New Funds.” That’s always nice to hear, isn’t it?
