I thought Johhny B. was using "plugging" in some kind of dirty euphemism way. Now I'm disappointed.

Hey, I'm plugging Johnny B. Truant (over on the YWC blog) only I'm not taking a sick day. I'm obviously doing this small-business marketing thing all wrong. Hmph.

I am incredibly grateful to have won one of your SOBCon tickets, Naomi! I'm so excited to think that in two days I'll be traveling to a meeting with actual grownups who have their own businesses (well, I'm sure that some of them will be more grownup than others). The only downside is that I won't be able to meet YOU there.

And now I'll take this opportunity to do a shameless plug for my OWN time-sensitive thing: Your Web Coaches is doing another Web Creation Workshop beginning May 13, but if you sign up by April 29, you can get a 10% discount.

May your sneezes vanish and may Jack grow to love you (and all that you represent) again, and SOON.

I like the part where taking a sick day involves plugging Johnny B. Truant. Too many people shirk that advice.

Feel better, eh?

(Incidentally, I find I've been adding "eh?" to a lot of my sentences recently. I've also been talking to a Canadian marketing blogger a lot recently. Coincidence? Perhaps. Now I'm off to the Beer Store.)
