Two things get me through times like these:

1 - Remembering that this, too, shall pass.

2 - Harry telling me, "Things'll be okay." Somehow, hearing someone else remind me that all hope is not lost and that tomorrow is another day makes me feel better.

(God, that sounds sappy- I need more coffee. Onwards.)

I await 30 days of your advice and howling wit. In fact, your series comes at an excellent time - we're currently doing some internal restructuring to be more efficient, work less and earn more (yeah right) and we're 100% revamping our blog.

Which reminds me - Everyone, come visit our blog. We've put up a call asking, "If you could change one thing, what would it be?"

Then come back here. I don't want to steal Naomi's traffic :)

I've heard of people who cycle or walk 'to' their home office and 'back'. That is, they take a 10min walk at the start of the day, 10min walk before and after lunch, and yet one 10min walk when they are done for the day. That ought to help 15 pounds to disappear.
