Charlie is the shit. Officially, he does web design and ebook design and maybe some other stuff. But what I really like about Charlie? He gets it. I sent him an email saying, “I need cool buttons” and promptly left the country for the week. When I got back, I had perfection in my inbox. Charlie just gets it, and when you don’t speak Designer, that is critical. He is awesome. (He designed SEO School, too.)

Rachael, the Caffeinated Design Studio

Rachel from Caffeinated Studio is one of my absolute heroes. She is an incredible designer, yes. She’s also a homeschooling mom of four. FOUR! Here’s what I really like about Rachel’s design work. She makes beautiful things for reasonable prices. Like, REALLY reasonable. She is able to charge such a low rate because she has an intrinsic eye for design. That means less back and forth, and fewer hours she has to work. Fewer hours she has to work means less money you have to pay. Nice, huh? Especially noteworthy are awesome headers for less than $200, logos for less than $300, and Twitter backgrounds for $40. FORTY BUCKS! I’m swooning.
