When you're running your ittybiz, there are a lot of things you have to do.

Some of those things live in your zone of genius, and you love doing them.

Some of those things are necessary parts of running your business, but you'd rather farm them out to a virtual assistant. (I recommend Time Etc. – it's where we get our VAs.)

But sometimes you get stuck on some pretty core stuff.

(So you might need a hand with that.)

Perhaps you might want to “Rent-A-Kris”.

I've been running the backend of IttyBiz for years, writing sales pages, email copy, designing graphics and PDFs, and setting up our internal systems.

Naomi often had me do some of this work for her clients, too.

She called it “Rent-a-Kris”.

So I've written and edited sales pages, email sequences, launch content and even written blog posts and content plans for her clients who either found themselves stuck, or who didn't want to pay the rates that full-timers charge for those things.

So… if you think you might want to Rent-a-Kris, maybe there's something I can do for you.

Here's what I'm offering at this time:

I currently offer a handful of services that can help you get critical pieces of your ittybiz moving if you're stuck (or simply don't want to do the project).

As every business project is different, the numbers below are estimates. We can discuss your project over email to find out if it will require more or less time than these figures. But in general, these prices will be what you'll pay.

Website Reviews + Action Plans

I'll do a detailed review of your current website and give you my feedback on it in multiple arenas – reader experience, branding, conversion, etc..

(I'll send you a questionnaire first to get to know you and your brand, and what your goals are for your website.)

You'll receive my full review along with specific recommendations and a prioritized action plan so that you'll know what to work on first to make the biggest impact.

(Note: Individual sales pages are not covered in the detailed website review – those are a separate service offered farther down on this page.)

  • Pricing: Most projects come in at $325.

Get in touch and we'll discuss your project.

Content Creation
(Yes, I will write your content.)

If you need content, but don't want to write it yourself, I can take that off your hands.

I've written for Naomi's clients on numerous occasions, and I've even written for Naomi herself at times on the IttyBiz blog under her name.

(Fun game: read through the blog and try and figure out which pre-2020 posts are mine.)

Specifically, I offer neutral, customizable-by-you content.

  • This means I will write content that will be perfectly suitable for you to post to your blog as-is, and has a neutral tone that won't conflict with your current writing voice.
  • You can run this content as it stands, or you can edit it after the fact to add some of your own personality to it. But the heavy lifting will all be done.

I can also write series content, and if you provide me with a list of your current content, I can write pieces that will interlink nicely with what you already have.

In general, posts will be 800 to 1000 words, depending on the subject matter, with one revision included.

  • Pricing: $120 per blog post, 4-post minimum.

Get in touch and we'll discuss your project.

Content Planning

If you can write your own content, but you are struggling with “what to write”, I can build a content plan for you. Then all you have to do is create your future content based on the list of articles and titles I create for you.

Content plans are generally designed to accomplish one (or more) of these ends:

  • Evergreen content (“Just give my audience something – anything – to read”)
  • Expertise content (“Showcase a particular area of my expertise”)
  • Funnel content (“Lead people to buy my products or services”)
  • Authority content (“Position me as an expert in my field”)
  • Beginner content (“Get beginners to spend a lot of time on my site”)

If you have The 1-Hour Content Plan, you'll be familiar with the example plans that were in it as a bonus. I helped develop each of them, so yours will look a lot like those.

To create your plan, I'll send you a questionnaire about what you do and who you do it for, as well as what you're selling, and I can custom build your plan from there.

  • Pricing: Most content plans come in at 50 post ideas for $400, 100 post ideas for $600.

Get in touch and we'll discuss your project.

Sales Page / Service Page Reviews + Action Plans

If you have existing sales pages that you know are not performing as well as they could, I can give you a detailed review of the page with my feedback on what to change (as well as an action plan to tell you what to fix in what order of priority).

In your review, I'll provide detailed feedback on things such as:

  • Visual elements – what's working, what's not, what's missing
  • Overall branding – what needs to be present for consistent, solid branding
  • Page setup – what key elements need to be rearranged, or what's missing now
  • Conversion – what's helping your conversion rate, what's hurting it, and what needs to change
  • Reader flow – what needs to change to keep readers reading (and not skimming or skipping)
  • Voice – what adjustments in tone, voice and confidence need to be made to the page

Pricing for these projects depend on the size and complexity of the page.

  • Pricing: Most reviews will come in at between $250 and $350.

Get in touch and we'll discuss your project.

Sales Page Copy Editing

If you have an existing sales page, and you would like to have its copy improved, I can do that, too.

To get an idea of the level of copy that I write, please browse any of the sales pages in the Karma Store.

Pricing for copy editing will depend on the size and complexity of the page.

  • Pricing: Most projects will come in at between $250 and $600.

Get in touch and we'll discuss your project.
